We are team of highly trained and certified health care providers who have dedicated our careers to helping people achieve optimal health. Our team includes Carrie Ballas, a nurse practitioner who specializes in functional medicine, Wendy O’Sullivan, a functional health coach, and Indea Leo, a fitness expert and personal trainer. We have a team of RNs helping in this process as well.
All of us share a passion for helping people feel better from the inside and out.

Functional Medicine Family Nurse Practitioner
Carrie Ballas, BSN, MS, FNP-C, ABAAHP
My personal mission in designing this program is to help people find success in reaching their goals in feeling optimal in their body and within their life. I see people struggle in frustration over feeling stuck or defeated in their weight loss journey, and I am excited to be a part of unraveling the mystery in finding the root cause and in helping people get personalized data and use tools, such as Peptide therapies, to reverse this process and ultimately disease.
I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a certification in Functional Medicine from the A4M and have been practicing integrative, functional medicine in my private practice, Boulder Integrative Health and IV Boulder, for more than 17 years. I have been working with people on their weight loss journey during my entire career, and in 2024, I received a certification in Weight Loss from the A4M at their first ever certification program, which integrates comprehensive evaluations, lifestyle modifications, nutritional supplementation, and GLP-1 and GIP peptide therapies.
I am thrilled to be bringing together a team of excellent clinicians who can educate you and be your champions for success!

Wendy O’Sullivan
My mission is to connect practically and intuitively with what wellness means to each individual, helping clients find strength, confidence, and balance along their weight loss journey.
As a National Board of Health and Wellness Certified (NBHWC) Health and Wellness coach, I support and empower individuals to develop positive health behaviors through goal setting, education, mindfulness, and self-discovery. I am equipped with tools to help you assess your readiness for change and determine what goals you want to set. These goals will specifically fit your lifestyle, helping you maintain and sustain the changes you want to make in your overall well-being.
Whether you have a health goal in mind personally or have received one from a health care practitioner, I can help you make the changes in your everyday life that work for you to improve and sustain your health.

Fitness Expert
Indea Leo
Indea Leo serves as our in-house fitness expert, bringing over 25 years of experience and a proven ability to help clients achieve their weight loss goals. A certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Indea specializes in corrective exercise, senior fitness, and functional movement. Her supportive and motivational approach has helped countless clients move better, build strength, and embrace healthier, more active lifestyles.
As part of our collaborative team, Indea works closely with functional medicine practitioners and holistic nutritionists to provide a comprehensive, cutting-edge approach to weight loss. Her expertise in movement and fitness ensures that exercise becomes an empowering and sustainable part of your journey. With Indea’s guidance, you’ll feel stronger, more confident, and fully supported in reaching your goals.
